Message	If you run your car down to fumes and not refill it for a day or two, the pump can dry out breaking prime and won't work properly. This happened to me once. I was really tired coming home one night and limped home knowing I would have to get gas in a can later. The next day I poured 5 gallons in my tank and it wouldn't start. However after the second day and with the pump now soaking in fuel it finally started and I've never had a problem since. I now never leave my car on "E" for very long.
